The Byres was completed in Summer 2015 and is, as it sounds, a converted Byre. The row of buildings has beautiful feature arched windows which look out over the fields and hills beyond. 

Open plan living area provides the perfect space for large family groups to get together with the added bonus of a snug upstairs so you can escape with a book for some peace and quiet. 

Accommodation comprises of:

Entrance hallway which leads to main living area, utility room (with washer and dryer) and Bedroom 1.

Living area has an open plan kitchen – living area with wooden staircase leading to the upstairs snug. There are two sofas in this space as well as a large solid oak dining table and chairs, TV and DVD player complete with free sat. The kitchen has a full size dishwasher (because who wants to spend their holiday washing the dishes?) fridge freezer (large enough to fit your weekly shop), induction hob and electric oven. Beautiful arched windows and traditional cast radiators are a major feature in this space. There are two stone steps leading up to Bedrooms 2 and 3.

Snug area upstairs has two leather sofas and a TV complete with free sat. The 2 Velux windows make this space light and airy and ideal for star gazing.

Bedroom 1 – Kingsize bed with ensuite (complete with separate shower and slipper bath)

Bedroom 2 – Double with ensuite shower room

Bedroom 3 – Twin bedroom with ensuite shower room 

The accommodation is tastefully decorated with wooden flooring throughout to make this space perfect for families to relax after a day exploring the Northumbrian countryside. The heating and hot water for The Byres is provided by our Bio Mass boiler. The showers are all fitted with large waterfall shower heads which are a luxurious treat to wash away all of your worries! 

1 well behaved dog allowed at no extra charge. Cot & highchair available (please request at time of booking). Car parking space for up to 3 cars.
